No client has ever said to me “It’s my budget – it’s keeping me awake at night!”

I guess if I were an accountant this probably would happen quite a lot!

The area I work in, which does lead to sleepless nights and anxiety can be divided into areas and more often than not these two areas overlap …

  • People, individual staff members, line managers, certain teams, stakeholders – both internal and external etc.,
  • Ourselves, our levels of confidence,  our belief in ourselves, our ability to be to ‘step into new ways of being’.

If you are reading this, the chances are that you are already aware that to get different results you need to ‘try on’ / try out new ways of thinking, new beliefs – new ways of being.

“Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen”

My approach to business is practical and down to earth, and I love helping my clients focus on business outcomes, working on what needs to be done on the outside as well as the inner world of a mind-set for success.

A background in being highly effective at getting beneath what holds business owners and leaders back from performing at their best and I combine my analytical skills with considerable and varied ways to ensure my clients are supported and developed to achieve their potential.

After over 15 years working in HR and Training (last 10 years in Social Housing) I left to concentrate on coaching and training.

“I trained as a coach and set up my business; The Coaching Works (UK) Ltd in 2003
Part of the coach training required us to be coached (how could it not require this!)  and the power of coaching really blew me away;
how a few seemingly simple questions could in fact change lives.
It did mine.
I left my job in the public sector, and the rest they say is history!

I cant say its been easy but I do that over the past few years I have worked with many wonderful people and I hope I will continue to do so for many years to come and for that I am very lucky and very thankful”
